The Ram 1500 TRX is one of the most attention-grabbing trucks on the road today, so how do you make it even more distinctive? You do what Ram did and paint it bright orange. The truck, called the “Ignition Edition”, builds upon the already well-equipped TRX, and is limited to just 875 units.

The orange theme also carries over to the interior, where Copperhead Orange stitching and embroidered TRX logos, copper carbon fiber accents, an orange center console badge, and a driver’s screen that features TRX in Ignition Orange all grace the cabin. Aside from the orange paint, the exterior changes include special Ignition graphics and 18-inch machine face black wheels.

The truck comes equipped with the Level 2 Equipment Group, on top of which it adds a panoramic sunroof, spray-in bed liner, cargo tie-downs, a bed step, an LED cab-mounted brake light, a heads-up display, and pedestrian emergency braking. And of course, seeing as it’s still a TRX, it features the same 6.2-liter supercharged V8 as the “regular” one, producing a staggering 702 hp (712 PS / 523 kW) and 650 lb-ft (881 Nm) of torque. Prices for the TRX Ignition Edition start from $93,280 (including a $1,695 destination charge), and it will go on sale in the fourth quarter of this year.

“Buyers demand a good-looking truck with easy-to-use features. They tell us their Ram trucks are an extension of their personality, and they want to stand out from the crowd,” said Ram Brand Chief Executive Officer Mike Koval Jr. “Ram customers demand even more and our new models deliver that with a selection of exterior and interior appointments and content for even greater personalization.”

The pickup made its public debut at the State Fair of Texas, where it’s currently on display alongside two other limited edition Ram trucks: the 1500 Longhorn SouthFork and the Ram 1500 (RAM) RED Edition.
