The SEMA news continues as Ford has previewed an assortment of modified pickups.

Starting with the newest family member, there are three different takes on the 2022 Maverick. The first is a Lifeguard Rescue collaboration from California’s Oxnard police department and the Oxnard Union High School.

It features a multi-colored exterior with emergency lights, a rear topper and a roof rack. The model has also been outfitted with extended fender flares, auxiliary lights, a “watersports carrier” and Neosupreme front seat covers.

Air Design Maverick

The Air Design Maverick goes in a slightly different direction as it features a rugged appearance thanks to a 1.5 inch lift kit and 18-inch wheels wrapped in 31-inch all-terrain tires. The model has also been equipped with Air Design USA fender flares, door moldings and a tailgate appliqué. Rounding out the highlights are a bed cap and the factory FX4 Off-Road Package.

At the opposite end of the spectrum, there’s the Tucci Maverick. It features a widebody kit as well as 3D-printed components such as a front lip and rear spoiler. Other highlights include a 2.0-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine, coil-over shocks, and a custom cat-back exhaust system with dual carbon fiber tips. The model also has four Recaro Sportster seats with racing harnesses.

Skyjacker Ranger

Besides the Mavericks, Ford will showcase two Rangers and six F-Series pickups. The most notable Ranger is from Skyjacker as it features heavy duty bumpers, a Warn winch and a six-inch lift. The model also has auxiliary lights, a cat-back exhaust, and an EcoBoost engine with a Power Pack performance calibration.

Selecting a favorite from the F-Series lineup is more difficult, but we’ll give the nod to the Addictive Desert Designs F-150 Raptor. It has been given a modest makeover thanks to custom graphics as well as meaty tires wrapped in beadlock wheels. Other highlights include Addictive Desert Designs bumpers, rock sliders and a bed-mounted tire rack.
