Jeep Beach Week is one of the largest annual gatherings of Jeep vehicles in the United States and the company is celebrating the event with a new special edition.

Known as the Wrangler Jeep Beach, the model is based on the new Wrangler Hide Tide and features unique hood decals. Production will be limited to 500 units and pricing starts at $49,240 when the special edition goes up for order next month.

While the special edition isn’t very special, it’s based on the 2022 Wrangler Hide Tide which features a host of upgrades. That particular model builds on the Sport S trim and comes equipped with the Xtreme Recon Package.

The package adds a 1.5 inch (38 mm) suspension lift and 17-inch beadlock-capable wheels wrapped in 35-inch BF Goodrich T/A KO2 tires. Other highlights include extended fender flares, a 4.56 rear axle ratio, and a reinforced hinge-gate.

Besides the Xtreme Recon Package, the Wrangler Hide Tide sports LED lighting units, rock rails, and a Gorilla Glass windshield. Buyers will also find a body-color hardtop with a Sunrider Fliptop. Rounding out the highlights are High Tide hood decals and sand/slush mats.

The 2022 Wrangler High Tide goes up for order later this month and pricing starts at $49,240 which is the same as the Wrangler Jeep Beach special edition. Both come equipped with a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 that produces 285 hp (213 kW / 289 PS) and 260 lb-ft (352 Nm) of torque. It’s connected to a standard eight-speed automatic transmission and a four-wheel drive system.

Besides High Tide and Jeep Beach variants, the automaker announced the 2022 Wrangler is getting a new High Velocity exterior color. The bright hue is being billed as a “high-energy, high-impact yellow that is authentic and not afraid to stand out, just like the Jeep Wrangler community.” The color will be available on all Wranglers as a $395 option.

Note: Prices exclude a $1,595 destination charge
