The price of the most basic version of the Chevrolet Corvette has risen yet again for the 2023 model year. The automaker announced today that the 1LT comes with a base price of $63,195 (including $1,295 destination fee), up $1,050 from 2022.

Chevrolet also announced that the new 70th Anniversary Edition package will be a $5,995 package and the optional body stripes will cost customers another $995. The package, though, must be added to at least the 3LT trim, and the brand has yet to reveal pricing for it or the 2LT trim.

The 70th Anniversary Edition package, though, will be sold exclusively in Carbon Flash Metallic or White Pearl Metallic Tri-coat. It also features unique wheels with commemorative center caps and an Edge Red stripe. That same crimson shade will be available for the brake calipers and the special badging. Those $995 optional stripes, meanwhile, are available in Satin Gray or Satin Black.

For nonspecial edition models, Chevrolet is adding a few new options in 2023 that include a new set of 20-spoke wheels that are available in gloss black for $995, in satin black with a red stripe for $1,495, or in ultra-bright machined for $1,995. It will also offer the performance exhaust system with black tailpipes for an extra $200.

Inside, meanwhile, things remain largely the same, but people buying the 3LT trim can opt for the Adrenaline Red Dipped treatment for no extra cost. The option makes the whole interior red, rather than combining the shade with black seats, as was previously necessary.

Pricing for the highly anticipated Z06 (on which the 70th Anniversary Edition package is also available) has not yet been revealed either. Reports have suggested, though, that the 5.5-liter naturally-aspirated V8-powered high-performance trim will cost somewhere in the neighborhood of $90,000. We know for a fact that the very first example of this 670 hp (500 kW/679 PS) supercar sold $3.7 million at auction, with proceeds from that sale going to charity.
