Who doesn’t love the Lamborghini Aventador? After all, it has been the Italian automaker’s flagship supercar for more than a decade, ticking every box for a supercar with a big V12 engine. However, to our eyes, the Murcielago LP640 looks even more phenomenal.

The Lamborghini Murcielago was introduced as the successor to the Diablo and halfway through its lifecycle, the facelifted LP640 model was introduced. This particular example is especially gorgeous thanks to its exterior finish and aftermarket wheels.

This Murcielago Roadster was recently customized by R1 Motorsport in California. It’s also unclear if the purple finish is a wrap or if the car actually left the Lamborghini factory look like this.

Whatever the case may be, the color suits the shape of the Murcielago absolutely perfectly. Whereas the Aventador is largely dominated by straight lines and bold angles, the LP640 has many more curves and rounded surfaces.

It’s not just the exterior finish that makes this Raging Bull stand out. The car is also rocking a set of ADV10 Track Spec CS Series three-piece concave wheels measuring 19×8.5-inches at the front and a staggering 20×13-inches at the rear. These wheels have a gloss brush finish and include exposed titanium hardware.

For as epic as the Lamborghini Murcielago Roadster is, it does not have hard removable roof panels like the Aventador Roadster and instead only features a cheap-looking soft top that’s infamously difficult to remove. We’d still happily sell a lung to own a Murci though.
