The premiere of the updated 2023 Hyundai Palisade has been scheduled for April 13 but the Korean automaker has accidentally leaked the first photo of the SUV on the YouTube livestream video thumbnail.
Hyundai quickly replaced the presentation thumbnail but the revealing photo had already been posted by several media outlets. The screenshot leaves little to the imagination, giving us the clearest view of the front end and the profile since the official teasers.
The facelifted Palisade gets a redesigned face including new headlights with more modern LED DRLs, a larger grille incorporating the parametric design style, and more chrome on the lower part of the bumper. Naturally, the profile appears to be identical with the exception of the new multispoke wheels giving the SUV a more premium look.

Hyundai hasn’t shown us the rear end yet but we expect fewer changes, most likely focused on the rear bumper trim. Inside, the automaker confirmed that the 8-seater cabin will be upgraded with more tech and safety features. Earlier spy shots have revealed a new steering wheel and a revised dashboard, most likely integrating a larger 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen.
The Palisade is expected to retain the 3.8-liter V6 which produces 291 hp (217 kW / 295 PS) and 262 lb-ft (355 Nm) of torque in the current model. Power is sent to the front or to all four wheels through an eight-speed automatic gearbox.
We will learn more about the facelifted Palisade in the official premiere at the New York International Auto Show. Hyundai has confirmed that the revamped SUV will reach US dealers in the summer.
