The Cadillac Escalade is a common vehicle choice for high profile individuals who often need extra protection while on the road. Thus, AddArmor transformed the SUV into a B6-grade armored model offering “bank-level” security and additional luxury features thanks to extensive modifications.

The ‘Full Protection Package’, as they call it, includes B6 AR 500 lightweight ballistic protection for every single interior panel, matching the B6-grade of the armored glass in all windows. The extra layers make the Escalade resilient to bats, rocks, bullets and other items.

From the outside, the SUV looks like your typical Escalade, besides heavy tinting on the windows, lowered stance and extra lights on the grille. It also comes fitted with a siren P1 system that helps its driver to “disperse crowds”, while the run-flat tires make sure the Escalade will remain driveable at all times. All those additions mean that the passengers of AddArmour’s Escalade will have a serious layer of protection from kidnappers and carjackers.

Besides the ballistic protection which is the main focus of the transformation, the company has upgraded the interior to provide an even more luxurious experience. The highlight is the two captain chairs for the rear passengers which come with heating, cooling, and massage functions. The passenger compartment is separated from the driver and has two additional drop-down seats if you want to accommodate extra individuals.

The entire cabin is upholstered in high-quality leather combined with an Alcantara Suede headliner and hardwood accents. Tech features include a Samsung Smart TV that is integrated into the middle wall, a high-end Sony audio system, and tablets for infotainment purposes. Passengers have access to fold-out tables, window shades for extra privacy, a sunroof and dual-zone climate control. If you are looking for luggage space though, this is probably not the right vehicle for you since the boot is quite small due to the addition of an extra armored rear door, making the cabin look like a vault.

If you already own an Escalade and want a similar level of protection and luxury, the cost of the aforementioned modifications is $75,000. For any other vehicle, AddArmour’s entry-level protection packages start at $32,500.
