Hot on the heels of the BMW iX M60’s official media launch, a comprehensive gallery of photos have been released, showcasing the all-electric SUV in great detail. Specifications and availability details have also been announced for the Australian market.

The iX M60 is the first M product to be based around the automaker’s future modular architecture. It features two bespoke electric motors that combine to pump out 610 hp with the Sport Mode engaged or 533 hp during regular driving. As for the torque, the EV churns out 749 lb-ft (1,015 Nm), a figure that can grow to 811 lb-ft (1,100 Nm) when using Launch Control.

Found beneath the skin of the iX M60 is a 111.5 kWh battery pack. BMW quotes a 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) time of 3.6 seconds and an electronically limited top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h). The electric SUV is also good for a range of 566 km (352 miles) under WLTP testing.

In Australia, the luxurious SUV will be offered in one highly-equipped specification starting at AU$222,900 (~$158,000). This model includes 22-inch Aero alloy wheels, comfort access, heated front seats, the BMW IconicSounds system, Driving Assistant Professional, Parking Assistant Professional, a Bowers and Wilkins Diamond Surround Sound System, BMW Natural Interaction, BMW Live Cockpit, Interior Design Suite with Olive Tanned Leather, a Panorama Glass Roof Sky Lounge, Integral Active Steering, Adaptive 2-Axle Air suspension, Soft-Closs Doors, and BMW LaserLight headlights. Rounding out the standard features is a tire pressure monitor, M Sport Brakes with Dark Blue Metallic calipers, an interior camera, and a five-year unlimited subscription to the Chargefox network.

Eight colors are available; Alpine White, Black Sapphire, Sophisto Grey, Phytonic Blue, Blue Ridge Mountain, Oxide Grey, Storm Bay, and Aventurine Red, the latter two of which are AU$2,600 ($1,847) options. Three upholstery options are available at no cost to the customer, as are three different 22-inch wheels.

Finally, Aussie buyers can opt for the AU$3,500 ($2,487) Comfort Package that includes steering wheel heating, front ventilated seats, and the Head Comfort Package which adds seat heating to the front and rear, armrest heating on the center console, and all doors, a heated instrument panel beneath the steering wheel and glove box lid, and heated trim on the upper front and rear door panels.
