Electrification will play a very important role in the future of the Jeep brand and while we know an all-electric Wrangler is just around the corner, car designer Dejan Hristov has imagined what a smaller electric off-roader from Jeep could look like.

The talented artist has imagined this all-electric Jeep as a successor to the current Renegade, albeit modified to make it more capable along difficult off-road trails than the existing model.

Immediately making this Renegade BEV stand out is the rugged profile and boxy shape. The front end includes a classic Jeep grille with seven vertical slats while there are also circular headlights sitting above smaller fog lights. The off-roader’s hood also catches the eye thanks to its large power bulge and air vents. There is also a small bull bar up front alongside a silver skid plate.

Elsewhere, Hristov has designed the Renegade BEV with flared front and rear wheel arches which could be finished in gloss black or color-matched to the rest of the exterior. An aggressive design has also been adopted for the wheels which themselves are wrapped in rugged off-road tires. Side steps have also been fitted, as have a pair of small wing mirrors.

The shape of the roof is very square, as are the side windows, giving the Renegade BEV the perfect design to be marketed as a smaller alternative to the Wrangler. A pair of roof rails are also featured.

Making the off-roader make an even more dramatic statement is the rear end where a spare wheel sits on the tailgate and is complemented by angular LED taillights. The Jeep also features a short rear overhang to help the Renegade get over obstacles and down steep slopes, as well as a skid plate.
