The teaser campaign for the Fisker PEAR continues as the company has released the first interior sketch.

Designed to appeal to a “metropolitan lifestyle,” the cabin has a minimalist design that appears to be largely devoid of buttons and switches. Instead, most features will be controlled by a floating infotainment system.

There isn’t much else to see, but the PEAR appears to have wood trim and illuminated accents. We can also see a panoramic glass roof and two-tone upholstery. Fisker also revealed the model will have a “new level of storage for its segment” as well as a “Houdini trunk,” which is being billed as an “alternative to traditional rear cargo hatches.”

We’ll learn more in the coming months as prototypes are slated to begin testing late this year. The model will then debut in the second half of 2023, before going into production in Ohio in 2024.

While Fisker is staying tight-lipped on specifics, the PEAR will be offered with rear- and all-wheel drive. There will also be two battery packs including a Hyper Range variant, which aims to provide over 310 miles (499 km) of range. The company also revealed the model will offer a SolarSky panoramic roof, which features solar panels that are designed to collect the sun’s energy and recharge the vehicle while parked.

Fisker has already received over 3,200 reservations for the PEAR and CEO Henrik Fisker said the model will be a “revolutionary mobility device, designed for city dwellers.” He added, “The Fisker PEAR’s cool new features and technologies – and affordable pricing below $29,900 – are designed specifically for the customer of the future.”

Speaking of reservations, more than 50,000 people have signed up for the Ocean, which is slated to go into production on November 17th.
