Dacia’s New Emblem And Visual Identity Applied In The Entire Lineup

One year ago, Dacia unveiled its new emblem and brand identity, and today it incorporates them into its entire lineup, keeping its promise. Thus, the Spring, Sandero, Sandero Stepway, Jogger, and Duster, gain the new “DC” emblem on their grilles, alongside revised lettering, colors, and accents.

The update is not considered to be a facelift, but it does affect the design of the vehicles bringing them in line with the graphics and colors of the recently updated communication material and dealer network.

The new Dacia Link emblem features a symmetrical design for the “D” and “C” characters that looks like a chain, and replaces the old shield. It is mounted in the middle of the grille, with matching horizontal lines on each side. Those are painted in white, instead of the typical chrome, and are not illuminated like in the 2021 Dacia Bigster concept. The new emblem can also be found on the wheel hubs.

As for the steering wheel and the tailgate, those feature Dacia lettering, while the model names at the back now look like stickers. All models are now available in the pictured Dusty Grey shade, for a family look. Additionally, the Sandero Stepway and the Duster benefit from a Monolith Grey finish on the roof rails, skid plates, and mirror caps, accentuating their adventurous looks. The company highlights the fact that it hasn’t been using leather of animal origin inside the cars for several years.

As noted by David Durand, Dacia Design Director, the new logo is “symbolic of the brand’s focus on getting back to basics” while the new emblem “evokes simplicity and robustness”.

Orders for the refreshed Dacia range open on June 16. The first deliveries are expected in the fourth quarter of the year, following the public debut of the entire range at the 2022 Mondial de Paris in October. The company also announced that from 2023, all Dacia models will have a limited top speed of 180 km/h (112 mph), in line with Renault Group’s latest policy.
