Ken Block has partnered with Ram Trucks and will soon unveil a special version of the 1500 TRX pickup.

Two black and white teaser photos and a video of the potent pickup truck have been shared to social media by the rally star, although they don’t provide us with much of an idea of what to expect.

The most revealing of the teasers show the truck emerging from a cloud of dust. There are no obvious points of difference between the TRX featured in the teaser and the model that’s currently in production, leading us to wonder if this special edition model will simply be an appearance package with new colors and graphics.

If this is indeed what Block and Ram Trucks are planning then it’s also possible that the interior of the TRX could benefit from some unique updates and trimmings.

Will this special Ram 1500 TRX also receive some performance upgrades? It’s entirely possible, although with a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 that pumps out 702 hp and 650 lb-ft (881 Nm) of torque as standard, it isn’t lacking in that department. We do know that Block loves very powerful cars, however.

This special TRX isn’t the only project that Block has been involved in since his partnership with Ford ended last year. Not only has he since raced a Subaru WRX STI, a Porsche 911 Safari, and a Hyundai i20, but he has also worked with Audi to develop the S1 E-tron Quattro Hoonitron and recently built a 1,400 hp 911 dubbed Hoonipigasus that he will race at the upcoming Pikes Peak International Hill Climb.
