Another lawsuit claiming that employees at Tesla have been subject to racial abuse has been filed in a Californian state court. More than a dozen black current and former Tesla employees claim that they have been subjected to racist comments by colleagues, managers, and HR, while it’s alleged that they were also passed over for promotion or assigned more physically demanding tasks.
MG4 EV Breaks Cover, Will Debut In September With Up To 281 Miles Of Range
The first official photos of the upcoming MG4 five-door hatchback have been published ahead of the car’s launch in September. The all-electric MG4 will be available with two battery sizes: a 51 kWh or a 64 kWh. WLTP range is estimated to be 218-281 miles (350-452 km). Ferrari, McLaren And Other Supercar Firms Get Extra Time To Meet CO2 Target
Some specialized low-volume car makers will be able to rest a little easier as the European Union has agreed to extend them from an arrangement exempting them from the CO2 targets that mainstream brands must meet. It comes as the likes of Ferrari, Lamborghini, and McLaren all build fewer than 10,000 cars per year. The EU has agreed to push back the cut-off point to the end of 2035.

The SSC Tuatara has been claimed to produce 1,750 hp on E85 and 1,350 hp on 91 octane fuel from its twin-turbo 5.9-liter V8 engine. However, it seems that the motor may be even more potent than that. A video shared on SSC’s Instagram page shows the lump on an engine dyno producing 1,890 hp — almost 150 hp more than the car manufacturer’s official claim.
Swarm Of Cruise Robotaxis Got Confused And Blocked Off A San Francisco Street
Multiple Cruise robotaxis have been captured on camera blocking off a San Francisco street. The random congregation was snapped at close to midnight before Cruise employees had to arrive at the scene to handle the situation. A spokesperson for the company told Tech Crunch that no passengers were impacted but failed to divulge why the cars decided to have an impromptu gathering.

Climeworks, a startup dedicated to removing CO2 from the atmosphere, has announced that they’ll be constructing a second plant in Iceland, that will capture and store 36,000 metric tonnes of carbon dioxide per year. As an alternative to planting trees, the plants take up less space and store the CO2 underground.
Mark Zuckerberg Gives Meta Staff Stern Warning
In a recent Q&A with employees, the CEO of Facebook parent Meta, Mark Zuckerberg, warned staff members they may no longer be needed. During the session, Zuckerberg bluntly told the Meta workforce that “…some of you might decide this isn’t the place for you, and that self-selection is OK with me,” reports Techspot.
