Cadillac has showcased the forthcoming CTV-4 Blackwing Track Edition ahead of its unveiling this month.

The special variant was first previewed by Cadillac a few days ago in a clip that showed it adorned with a number of distinctive parts, making it stand out from the ‘regular’ CT4-V Blackwing. This image shared on social media by Cadillac Performance shows three versions of the Track Edition.

These three cars are understood to be finished in Maverick Noir Frost, Rift Metallic, and Electric Blue. Each one features red IMSA branding on the carbon fiber front spoiler. We can also see that the white car has contrasting red wing mirrors, red brake calipers, and rolls on a set of sporty wheels with a chrome finish.

The matte black model is a little different as it matches its stealthy paint with black wheels and silver brake calipers. Last but not least is the Electric Blue CT4-V Blackwing Track Edition, outfitted with black wing mirrors and bronze-colored wheels. All three vehicles have unique graphics on the doors and hood. They all appear to have the same carbon fiber rear lip spoiler as the standard CT4-V Blackwing.

In a Twitter post, Cadillac says, “each of the three special editions will honor Cadillac Racing with unique interior packages, colors and graphics inspired by successes at iconic American racetracks.” As such, the Track Edition isn’t expected to benefit from any performance upgrades.

Cadillac has also confirmed that orders for the CT4-V Blackwing Track Edition will open on August 1 but shoppers had better be quick as availability will be “extremely limited.”

If the car’s 3.6-liter twin-turbocharged V6 remains untouched, it will continue to pump out 472 hp and 445 lb-ft (603 Nm) of torque, allowing the sports sedan to hit 60 mph (96 km/h) in 3.8 seconds and continue through to a 189 mph (304 km/h) top speed.
