Pagani Automobili has partnered with Asetek SimSports to create a pedal box for sim racing rigs that is nearly identical to the throttle and brake pedals in a Pagani Huayra R.

The Pagani Huayra R represents the epitome of premium hypercar track cars, accessible to only a very few,” said André Sloth Eriksen, CEO and founder of Asetek. “We are pleased to now offer sim racers the thrill of driving a real-life Pagani track car with our Pagani Huayra R pedal set.”

The limited edition sim racing pedal set is made up of pedal plates and arms that are based on the those used in the real-life Huayra R. Making only minor adjustments to account for their use in a sim racing context, they’re even designed to actuate like a Pagani’s pedals.

Using Asetek’s Twin Hydraulic Opposing Rapid Piston (T.H.O.R.P.) brake system, the pedal set “provides a rock hard brake pedal to mimic the feel of the Pagani Huayra R.” It also has two-stage racecar braking with minimum pedal travel if the owner prefers.

Further, Asetek worked with Pagani to tailor the RaceHub software that allows users to quickly and easily customize the pedal settings, including calibrating dead zones, throttle curves, and updating firmware.

“We are thrilled with the extreme quality, design and premium performance of these Pagani-branded sim racing pedals from Asetek,” said Horacio Pagani, Founder & Chief Designer of Pagani Automobili S.p.A. “Their design combined with groundbreaking performance truly matches our overall approach and is something that represents well the Pagani Huayra R. Through our partnership with Asetek, we are pleased to bring sim racers and car enthusiasts around the world a glimpse of the emotion and the excitement of driving one of our hypercars.”

Currently on sale in Europe, the Danish designed and assembled pedals retail at €1,680. American Pagani fans need not worry, though, because they will also soon be available in the U.S. at a price of $1,999.
