It’s no secret that the Lucid Air has incredible performance capabilities, but it never really had the same aggressive looks that many of its competitors had to back it up. Now, Lucid has revealed the Stealth Look package for the Air, which aims to bring a dash of sportiness to the electric sedan.

Lucid claims the package changes 35 different components on the car’s exterior to a gloss black or satin graphite finish, some of which include the mirror caps, roof cantrails, the headlight and taillight trim, front nose blade, C-pillar flags, and parts of the lower body trim.

Paired with the new trim are also two different sizes of a unique Aero Sport Stealth wheel design, which comes in 20-inch or 21-inch diameter depending on which Air model you choose.

The Stealth Look package will be available as a $6,000 option on the Touring, Grand Touring, and Grand Touring Performance trims, where it can be optioned with any paint color. The package will make its public debut on August 17 at Monterey Car Week, but it will be available to view on the configurator starting August 10 ahead of an early 2023 introduction.

“From its inception, Lucid Air was designed for two distinct looks that reflect the duality of its personality: standard Platinum Look, which highlights its luxurious nature; and now Stealth Look, which is simultaneously assertive yet under-the-radar,” said Derek Jenkins, Lucid’s Senior Vice President of Design and Brand.

“Lucid Air is undeniably one of the highest-performance vehicles on the road as exemplified by the Air Grand Touring Performance, with 1,050 horsepower, which secured the title of fastest production car in the Hillclimb Timed Shootout at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed. The sinister style of Stealth Look is a perfect complement.”
