The BMW M3 Touring will launch in Australia in early 2023 and be available from AU$177,500 ($115,061).

The Aussie version of the M3 Touring is largely identical to the model available in other markets. As such, it is powered by a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged six-cylinder that is good for 503 hp (375 kW) and 479 lb-ft (650 Nm) of torque, coupled to an eight-speed M Steptronic transmission that drives all four wheels. This allows the M3 Touring to hit 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.6 seconds and 200 km/h (124 mph) in 12.9 seconds.

Among the key standard features of the M3 Touring to be sold Down Under are 19-inch and 20-inch M light alloy wheels, BMW M 50 year anniversary badging, BMW LaserLight with High Beam Assistant, Comfort Access system with BMW Digital Key, Connected Package Professional, DAB+ digital radio, Driving Assistant Professional, full Merino leather upholstery, Harman/Kardon surround sound system, M high-gloss Shadowline, carbon fiber trimmings throughout the cabin, Parking Assistant Plus, and a tire pressure monitoring system.

A number of options are available, including the AU$17,500 ($11,344) M Carbon Experience. This adds M carbon fiber bucket seats, carbon fiber wing mirror caps, carbon fiber front bumper inlets, and a carbon fiber rear diffuser insert. It also includes a voucher for both the BMW M Driving Experience Advance 1 and Advance 2 courses at a BMW Driving Experience center and increases the top speed from 250 km/h (155 mph) to 280 km/h (174 mph).

Shoppers can also order the M3 Competition with AU$16,500 ($10,695) M carbon ceramic brakes that include six-piston front calipers with 380 mm discs and single-piston rear calipers with 370 mm discs. A handful of BMW Individual paint options are also available, consisting of Dravit Grey (AU$2,500 / $1,620), Tanzanite Blue (AU$2,500 / $1,620), Frozen Portimao Blue Metallic (AU$5,000 / $3,241), Frozen Black Metallic (AU$5,000 / $3,241), Frozen Orange Metallic (AU$5,000 / $3,241), and Frozen Brilliant White Metallic (AU$7,000 / $4,537).

The Merino leather interior comes at no additional cost but customers can opt for the BMW Individual Merino leather interior for an added AU$1,000 ($648) and offered in Fiona Red/Black, Tartufo, Ivory White, and Fjord Blue/Black.
