Polyphony Digital announced the much-anticipated 25th-anniversary update for Gran Turismo, which adds new vehicles, including a special edition of the Red Bull X2019, and the Road Atlanta track.

The free update is scheduled for November 24. Gran Turismo gamers in the Playstation 5 console will gain access to new cars like the 1987 Ford Sierra RS 500 Cosworth, the 1996 Nissan S14 Silvia K’s Aero, the 2018 BMW M2 Competition, and the Red Bull X2019 25th Anniversary Special Edition. The latter is a member of the virtual racing prototype saga by Red Bull, which also includes the X2010 for the GT5, the X2014 for the GT6, and the X2019 for the GT7 which has now been updated with a new livery.

Polyphony Digital also announced the addition of the Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta to the available tracks. The Road Atlanta was built in 1970 in Georgia, US, with a total length of 4,088 m (2.54 miles), 12 corners, and a 1,275 m (0.8-mile) long straight.

Celebrations for the 25th Anniversary of the popular video game series will continue in the GT World Finals which will be broadcasted live from Monaco. The inaugural event will be held at the Le Sporting Monte Carlo venue, between November 24 and 27. This year’s GT World Finals include the Toyota Gazoo Racing GT Cup, the Nations Cup Regional Finals, two Nation Cups, and a Manufacturers Cup. A total of 56 racers from 19 countries will participate in the virtual competitions.

On the last day of the GT World Finals, there is a special treat for all guests, as Ferrari will unveil its own Vision GT prototype. The model which appeared in a dark teaser will also be added to the game following the global debut in Monaco.
