An impressive collection of classic Datsun Z models are currently available through individual auctions on Bring a Trailer.

The collection is owned by a member of the online auction marketplace and took approximately 20 years to bring together. The first Datsun Z purchased by the collector was a Series I 240Z finished in Safari Gold. It is in pristine condition having undergone a comprehensive restoration that started in 2013 and only ended in July 2022.

The second model which joined the collection was a 1973 Datsun 240Z painted in Olive Green. It is a numbers-matching car and was picked up the day after the owner’s wife gave birth. It is being sold with a window sticker, sales literature, and all other pieces of original documentation.

Arguably the most eye-catching of all the models presented is a 1973 240Z finished in Lime. The seller picked up the keys to it during an auction in 2019, two years after he picked up the keys to a silver 1974 Datsun 260Z that is also being sold. This model has just ~6,000 original miles (~9,600 km) on the odometer and is painted in Silver with black vinyl upholstery.

A pair of low-mileage Datsun 280Z models round out the collection. The first of these is a 280Z 2+2 variant that is painted in Ice Blue over black vinyl upholstery. The listing reveals that it has only ever been driven ~2,500 miles (~4,000 km) and is being offered with factory books and tools, original purchase paperwork, a set of Toyo radial tires, and a clean Montana title. Making it stand out even further are the chrome front and rear bumpers.

The second 280Z that the seller is parting ways with is a 1977 model that has been driven ~14,000 miles (~22,530 km) and is painted in Light Blue Metallic.
