Lando Norris and his teammate Oscar Piastri are struggling through a horrendous start to the 2023 Formula 1 season with the McLaren team but fortunately, Norris now has a reason to smile after taking delivery of his very special 765LT Spider.

The 23-year-old went all-out in configuring his dream 765LT Spider and spared no expense in ensuring that it is unlike any other. This is immediately apparent with the Gloss Blue Tint Visual carbon fiber adorning the dramatic bodywork of the hardcore, track-focused variant of the 720S.  Contrasting the blue carbon fiber are a host of Satin Visual carbon fiber details. We have no idea how much the exposed carbon finish cost but we suspect it was very, very pricey.

Continuing the bold and dramatic look are Lando Yellow brake calipers as well as the racer’s four-stripe graphic finished in the same shade of yellow and featured above the right-side headlight and under the active rear wing. The 765LT Spider also sits on Satin Black wheels.

Norris also had his car outfitted with all three available carbon fiber exterior upgrade packages, meaning the front splitter, front fenders, rear diffuser, air intakes, side skirts, and wing mirrors are all clad in carbon fiber. There is also an MSO Defined carbon fiber hood and a dark chrome McLaren badge. The Stealth Pack is also featured and includes dark quad tailpipes.

The interior has also been specced out to match the driver’s wishes. It has an MSO Custom steering wheel with blue carbon fiber, a 12 o’clock market, Norris’s four-stripe graphic, MSO Custom floor mats, and blue anodized pedals. The car’s key is also finished in blue carbon fiber with Norris’s graphic.

“I’ve been able to drive a lot of different McLarens, but this is the first car that I’ve designed; this is me in a car,” Norris said. “I’m a carbon lover, the more carbon I can have, the better but I didn’t want to have my logo everywhere, I wanted something a bit more subtle and MSO has done a fantastic job to realize my vision. My first custom car has been designed by McLaren and MSO and is even more perfect than I can imagine.”
