The 2024 Infiniti QX50 will arrive at U.S. dealerships later this month and the company has announced the crossover will be priced from $40,850. That’s $550 more than its predecessor, but buyers won’t apparently get anything new for their hard-earned money.

While that’s disappointing, the entry-level QX50 Pure has LED lighting units, a power liftgate, and 19-inch alloy wheels.

Moving into the cabin, drivers will find a leather-wrapped steering wheel and eight-way power leatherette front seats. They’re joined by a 7-inch cluster display as well as an Infiniti InTouch infotainment system that consists of an upper 8-inch display as well as a lower 7-inch display.

While the screens and switchgear make the model feel dated, it comes equipped with a dual-zone automatic climate control system, a six-speaker audio system, and a wireless smartphone charger. Other highlights include an auto-dimming rearview mirror and dark aluminum accents.

Despite its entry-level status, the QX50 Pure features a host of driver assistance systems including Adaptive Cruise Control, ProPILOT Assist, and Forward Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection. The Infiniti also has Predictive Forward Collision Warning, Lane Departure Warning and Intervention, and Rear Automatic Braking. Rounding out the highlights are Blind Spot Warning and Intervention, High Beam Assist, and Rear Cross Traffic Assist.

At the opposite end of the spectrum, the range-topping QX50 Autograph begins at $57,900 and has “cube design” LED headlights, LED fog lights, and 20-inch wheels. Other upgrades include a panoramic moonroof, silver-painted roof rails, and a motion-activated liftgate.

Buyers will also find a more luxurious interior that has semi-aniline quilted leather seats with heating and ventilation up front as well as heating out back. They’re joined by open pore maple wood trim, an Ultrasuede headliner, and a 16-speaker Bose audio system. Other niceties include a heated steering wheel, a tri-zone automatic climate control system, and a head-up display. Finishing things out are an Around View Monitor and Traffic Sign Recognition technology.

Regardless of which trim is selected, all models are powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 268 hp (200 kW / 272 PS) and 280 lb-ft (379 Nm) of torque. It’s connected to an Xtronic continuously variable transmission, which can be paired to an optional all-wheel drive system.
