Acura introduced the facelifted TLX earlier this month and now the company has announced pricing will start at $45,000.

That’s a significant jump as the 2023 model began at $40,050 but the price increase isn’t as bad as it seems as the Technology package now comes standard. It pushed the price of last year’s sedan to $44,050 so the actual increase isn’t too bad.

The entry-level variant is available exclusively with front-wheel drive and it features a lightly revised front fascia with a new grille. Buyers will also find larger 19-inch wheels now that the Technology package comes standard.

Moving inside, there’s a new 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a larger 12.3-inch infotainment system with a faster processor. The changes don’t end there as thicker carpeting allows for a quieter cabin, while rear seat passengers will find two new USB-C charging ports.

Other highlights include Milano leather seats, a wireless smartphone charger, and an ambient lighting system. They’re joined by an ELS Studio audio system, which presumably has 13 speakers.

The mid-level TLX A-Spec starts at $50,000 and comes standard with a Super Handling All-Wheel Drive system. Other highlights include a gloss black rear spoiler and 19-inch wheels with a Shark Gray finish.

Engineers also worked to create a quieter cabin by adding “new front fender liners, wheel insulators, B-pillar insulators, and door insulators.”

The TLX Type S begins at $57,000 and features an updated grille as well as new 20-inch wheels with a black finish. Additional changes are limited, but the car now comes equipped with a head-up display, a surround view camera, and a Sport+ drive mode that promises improved throttle response.

Of course, the main reason for upgrading to the Type S is the turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 that produces 355 hp (265 kW / 359 PS) and 354 lb-ft (479 Nm) of torque. It’s a sizable improvement over the turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder with 272 hp (203 kW / 276 PS) and 280 lb-ft (379 Nm) of torque.
