Last month, Dodge released its first photos of the Charger Daytona on its social media platforms to generate some excitement around its impending introduction. Now, we’re getting a better look at the car thanks to a video showing it being moved around a parking lot.
The new shots capture the car in motion as it pulls into the lot, is unloaded from a truck, and sits among other vehicles. Despite their brevity, they do offer some fresh insights into the upcoming electric muscle car – though, it increasingly appears that it may also receive an ICE-powered variant, either alongside the electric version or in the future.

That includes some better views of the glass roof and a look at the trunk lid, which includes the rear window, technically making this a liftback that should improve practicality as it allows you to carry bigger objects. In a shot of the car pulling into a driveway, we can also see a streak of silver underneath it. This appears to be the battery pack, revealed by the lack of rocker panels on this example.
Finally, the rims appear to be the same ones equipped to the Charger Daytona 440 in a video released (and then taken down) by Dodge at SEMA 2022, as noticed by Mopar Insider. As the name suggests, that would mean that this car makes 440 kW (590 hp/598 PS) from the factory. With some modifications from Dodge’s Direct Connection aftermarket department, the car will reportedly make up to 500 kW (670 hp/680 PS).
In 2022, Dodge’s CEO Tim Kuniskis said the Charger Daytona would be “faster than a Hellcat in all key performance measures.” Regardless of how much power it makes, the model will send power to all four wheels. While early indications suggested the car might be electric only, recent reports hint that plug-in hybrid variants making use of Dodge’s Hurricane inline-six will also be sold.
Despite the new information, much remains to be revealed. Fortunately, we don’t have to wait too much longer to learn more about the 2025 Charger Daytona, as Dodge plans to unveil it on March 5.
