- It may resemble a V12 supercar, but it runs a Yamaha four cylinder.
- Several companies in Florida rent out these supercar inspired boats.
- This one recently traded hands for $50,500, far below its new list price.
You don’t expect a Lamborghini to come with a wake. And yet here we are. If you’ve ever visited Florida, or live there, you may have seen small jet boats on the water with designs inspired by some of the most exotic street cars on the planet. Earlier this week, one of these boats traded hands on Bring a Trailer, and it is a faithful recreation of the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ.
Built by Watersports Car in Miami, you could actually be confused that this thing was a legitimate Lamborghini if you spotted it in the distance. Look closer, and the proportions are obviously way off, but it certainly looks more interesting than a normal boat, thanks in part to the wild pink, white, and turquoise paint scheme.

Like a real Aventador, the boat carries a sharp front fascia, angular headlights, and wheels finished in faux forged carbon fiber. The rear gets a dramatic wing, a diffuser, and tail lamps lifted from the V12 supercar. The cabin is where the illusion breaks, although leather and carbon fiber trim work hard to keep up appearances.

Powering the boat is a Yamaha-sourced 1.8-liter naturally-aspirated four-cylinder with 250 hp. The listing claims the engine has seen just six hours of use under the current owner, which either suggests restraint or a very short attention span. A single-axle trailer is included, so at least getting it to the water won’t be the hard part.
The boat ended up selling for $50,500. While that’s quite a lot, it’s significantly less than the its original $84,700 price tag. The next owner could choose to use it exclusively for their personal enjoyment, or start renting it out by the hour and try to make their money back before the novelty wears off.
