- The limited-run Ferrari took multiple hits during a drive through Scotland.
- This stunning 812 Competizione is painted in matte blue with yellow accents.
- Both sides, as well as the front and rear of the Ferrari, have been destroyed.
There are less than 1,000 Ferrari 812 Competiziones in the world, and as of this week, there is one fewer still. A European-registered example was completely destroyed after crashing earlier in the week, and the wreckage is the kind that ends a conversation about repair before it even starts.
This 812 Competizione has been owned by Dutch exotic-car dealership Thijs Timmermans for the past couple of years and has starred in a series of videos published online. Last year, AutoTopNL drove the car on the Autobahn, pushing it through to more than 205 mph (330 km/h). With a stunning matte blue paint scheme contrasted by yellow racing stripes, it would have been valued at more than $2 million. Now, it’s nothing but a twisted pile of metal.

A clip shared to Instagram shows the limited-run Ferrari was crashed on a narrow, two-lane road while driving through Scotland. As no footage of the crash itself appears to be available, it’s hard to know exactly what went wrong, but the damage makes it clear the car suffered multiple impacts, causing damage to both sides, as well as the front and rear.
The 812’s front end is in a particularly sorry state. The hood has been completely torn off, as has the bumper, headlights, and quarter panels. We can see that several hoses and pipes have been snapped, and the carbon-fiber air intakes have been ripped from the 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12.
Additionally, the windshield has been caved in, and the rear has been torn to shreds, with only two taillights still attached. The tire has also been ripped from the driver’s side rear wheel after the off-road excursion. Obviously, the force of the impact deployed the airbags. The only piece of good news is that the driver reportedly escaped uninjured.
