• Anduril Industries, RealTruck, and Palmer Luckey have unveiled a one-off Silverado.
  • It features tubular doors, heavy-duty bumpers, and a 6-inch lift for off-road prowess.
  • The truck was built by Matt Hunt Muscle Cars and will be auctioned for charity soon.

If you’re in the market for an open-air pickup, your only choice is the mid-size Jeep Gladiator. However, if you’re willing to make a few compromises, you can score this customized 2025 Chevrolet Silverado 1500.

Created as part of a collaboration between RealTruck and Palmer Luckey, of Oculus VR fame, the model is based on the Silverado Z71 and features a rugged front bumper with an integrated winch. We can also see marker lights on the hood and top of the windshield.

Moving further back, the truck has been equipped with extended fender flares and Black Rhino wheels wrapped in meaty off-road rubber. They’re joined by custom tubular doors, special side mirrors, and minimalist side steps.

The companies were too busy patting themselves on the back to go into many specifics, but the model features a RealTruck Ascend Cap as well as a roof-mounted basket that holds recovery boards. Other highlights include lime green recovery points and a 6-inch Superlift suspension.

Inside, there are leather seats with special headrests sporting a green version of the Anduril Industries logo. A closer inspection also reveals Husky floor mats.

Power is provided by a 6.2-liter V8 engine, which presumably develops its stock output of 420 hp (313 kW / 426 PS) and 460 lb-ft (623 Nm) of torque.

The truck will go up for grabs at the Barrett-Jackson Columbus Auction on June 27, and 100% of the hammer price will benefit the Call of Duty Endowment. The organization aids military veterans’ transition back to civilian life by helping them find “high-quality careers.”
