The Mini product drops continue as the company has unveiled the new Cooper Heritage and Oxford Editions. They’re essentially the same thing, but Americans and Canadians get a renamed version as there’s already a different Oxford Edition in North America.
Set to arrive in the United States late this year, the Cooper Heritage Edition is designed to celebrate a “true British icon that has transcended technology, efficiency, culture, and fashion.”

Based on the 2027 Cooper S 2-Door hatchback, the special edition features a Chili Red or Indigo Sunset Blue exterior with a contrasting white roof sporting a Union Jack motif. They’re joined by white mirror caps as well as red and white body stripes.
The car rides on 18-inch Slide Spoke wheels that feature a two-tone finish. They have special red, white, and blue center caps as well as Union Jack valve stem caps.
The ‘king and country’ theme continues inside with red, white, and blue door sill plates as well as special floor mats. A closer inspection also reveals a Union Jack design on the steering wheel and key fob.
Rounding out the highlights are two-tone upholstery, contrast stitching, and a “center console storage box cap.” It also appears that the circular display offers a Union Jack background.
Since the special edition is based on the Cooper S, it features a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder developing 201 hp (150 kW / 204 PS) and 221 lb-ft (299 Nm) of torque. It’s connected to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission that enables the model to hit 60 mph in 6.3 seconds.
US pricing starts at $39,270 before a $1,350 destination fee. That’s pretty steep as the standard Cooper S begins at $32,800 and the JCW variant is only $38,900.
Overseas, the Oxford Edition can be based on either the Cooper C or Cooper S. In the UK, pricing starts at £30,120.
