Well, here’s an automotive collaboration we could never have imagined. In the run-up to the finale of the 2025/2026 ABB FIA Formula E World Championship, Nismo has teamed up with British jeweler LOUD MOUTH LDN on a special collection of grillz, the decorative teeth covers long associated with hip-hop culture. Nissan’s performance division flashing dental jewelry is not a sentence anyone expected to write, yet here we are.
Four designs came together with Nismo’s input, each pulling from a specific piece of Nissan hardware. The first is blue and draws on the front grille of an R34 Skyline GT-R, down to the small black accents and amber dots that stand in for the car’s turn signals. Alongside it sits a red design modeled on the front fascia of the Z GT500 race car.

Serving as inspiration for the final two is the famed yellow Pennzoil-sponsored Nissan GT-R R34 race car and one combining silver, white, and red, just like Nissan’s GEN3 Formula E Evo race car.
While one may have expected Nismo to work with LOUD MOUTH LDN to create a collection of grillz available to shoppers, it describes this as a one-off collection, so they won’t be available to purchase. Ahead of the Formula E finale, they will be showcased at a Westfield shopping center in East London. Fans who attend the event will have the chance to win a bespoke piece from the jeweler.
Jeweler Has Its Say
“This collaboration was something completely different for us,” founder and director of LOUD MOUTH LDN Reece Garcia said. “We enjoy pushing ourselves creatively, and it was a chance to take what we normally do and apply it to a totally different world. Grillz are one of the only pieces of jewelry that are completely built around the individual, giving people a really unique way to express who they are. For this project, rather than starting with letters or logos, we looked at the shapes and details of the cars and translated them into something that works as jewelry. That’s something we’ll definitely keep exploring in future projects.”
