The Final Toyota GR Supra MkV Is Going Up For Grabs

Toyota North America has donated the last GR Supra Final Edition to Reach Out WorldWide. It will be auctioned off in January and the automaker noted the “one-of-one vehicle is the very last MkV GR Supra produced.”

The car will go under the hammer at Barrett-Jackson’s Scottsdale Auction and all funds will go to the nonprofit, which was founded by actor Paul Walker. The organization responds to natural disasters across the globe, aiding with search and rescue operations as well as distributing supplies.

Getting back to the car, it features a unique Phantom Gray exterior with black accents and contrasting red mirror caps. The model also sports a carbon fiber rear spoiler and a commemorative VIN ending in “99999.” Other highlights include the GT4 Style Pack as well as Akio Toyoda’s signature.

As a refresher, the GR Supra Final Edition has been designed to deliver an “elevated driving experience” thanks to an assortment of upgrades. This includes stiffer bushings, a revised camber angle, and a stronger front stabilizer. The model also has revised shocks, beefier Brembo brakes, and 19-inch wheels with a matte black finish.

Inside, there’s a black leather and Alcantara interior with carbon fiber trim and contrast stitching. Other niceties include embroidered GR headrests and red seat belts.

Power comes from a turbocharged 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine that develops 382 hp (285 kW / 387 PS) and 368 lb-ft (498 Nm) of torque. It’s connected to a six-speed manual transmission, which enables the coupe to accelerate from 0-60 mph in 4.2 seconds.

There’s no auction estimate, but Barrett-Jackson CEO Craig Jackson noted the first 2020 GR Supra sold for $2.1 million. He added, “We are fully prepared to rally the collector car community this January to challenge that previous record and generate substantial, life-changing support for Reach Out WorldWide.”
