Scout is scheduled to begin production next year and the company has been trying to keep excitement alive by introducing a string of concepts. Two more have been added to the fleet as they’ve introduced the new Traveler Mountainside and Trail-Ready concepts.
The Traveler Mountainside highlights the “softer side of Scout” and embraces “quiet luxury.” It features a Morning Dusk paint job with golden metallic highlights as it’s inspired by the sun rising over the mountains in the morning.

Besides the unique paint job, designers went for a minimalist appearance as the concept eschews a roof rack and spare tire carrier. It gives the Traveler a clean design, which draws even more attention to the 22-inch wheels that feature an anodized black finish as well as 35-inch tires.
While the exterior is a little plain, the same can’t be said about the cabin as it has a stylish Alpine District interior with semi-aniline leather seats featuring grey plaid centers. They’re joined by matching accents on the door panels and dashboard.
Another highlight is recycled walnut wood trim, which wraps around the cabin. Other niceties include a panoramic sunroof, stainless steel speaker grilles, and houndstooth upholstery on the roof and pillars.
Traveler Trail-Ready Concept
While the Mountainside embraces luxury, the Traveler Trail-Ready concept is all about adventure. It sports a Galvanized Steel body with a contrasting Canvas-painted roof. The latter also incorporates a retractable, black Cabana Top.
The concept is more notable for being equipped with unique off-road bumpers, which maximize approach and departure angles. The model also sports a front winch, rock rails, and 18-inch beadlock wheels wrapped in 35-inch off-road rubber.
Other highlights include skid plates, a rear trailer hitch, and a roof rack. The concept also wears a spare tire carrier with a side-mounted jerrycan.
Scout didn’t release interior pictures, but said the Trail-Ready concept has a Denim District interior that combines Brick Red leather with denim-inspired textiles.
Both concepts will celebrate their public debut at the Jazz Aspen Snowmass Labor Day Experience over the holiday weekend.
