The countdown to the launch of the refreshed 2013 Porsche Panamera is definitely on with the Germans having entered the car’s final development stages.

Carscoop reader Toldi filmed a couple of lightly disguised prototypes of the revised Panamera while exiting a gas station in a district of Stuttgart, Germany.

What the mid-life facelift brings to the Panamera is a redesigned front end with new headlamps and bumper, likely inspired from the latest 911, as well as a tweaked rear end with reworked tail lamps, bumper and tailgate designs.

Some minor improvements to the existing engine lineup and chassis are also to be expected.

A short video of Toldi’s encounter with the Panamera prototypes follows below.

Hat tip to Toldi for the clip!
