The Aston Martin CC100 Speedster was on display at the Villa d’Este Concorso d’Eleganza this past weekend, where visitors had the chance not only to admire its stunning looks, but also to hear the roar of its 6.0-liter V12 engine – and capture it on film so the rest of us can admire it as well.
The CC100 sounds even better than the Aston Martin V12 Zagato that won the Concorso in 2011, which is a pretty impressive feat in itself. The moment the 565hp V12 is brought to life, it’s like a ferocious beast is set free.
Rarely the sound of a car manages to match its looks, but in this case, it’s safe to say the V12’s howl is at least as thrilling as the design of the CC100 Speedster.
