I suppose it would have happened at some point; breaking a part of your body that’s absolutely necessary for this line of work and hobby, not to mention for driving – my left arm, and specifically at the shoulder joint. If I had a head-camera, I’m sure it would have made for a pretty spectacular, some would say hilarious, “offbeat” style video as I flew down a flight of stairs like a drunken driver behind the wheel of a drifting Lada.
Anywho, the doc’s first assessment is 4 to 8 weeks for recovery, which means that writing will be a tad cumbersome for me, at least with my left hand. But hey, I still have a fully functional right one and yes, I do intend to use it for writing purposes.
What I’m trying to say is that we’ll be half a hand down (literally) on Carscoops for a few weeks, but the show must, and will go on, even if that means some delays or reduction in the number of posts, for which I apologize beforehand (with the right one).
