Audi UK has revealed images and information on the forthcoming RS6 Avant Plus. We previously reported on (Head of quattro GmbH) Stephan Reil’s confirmation of the model, and published potential spy shots.

However, Audi headquarters in Ingolstadt did not sanction the premature release. Fortunately for enthusiasts, GTSpirit was able to capture screenshots of the uncovered model before the leak was taken down.

The official description featured on the leaked webpage said:

“The RS6 Plus is the latest of Audi’s stunning RS ‘Plus’ models, offering even greater performance and agility than the standard RS6—on or off the track. The RS6 Avant Plus uses a tuned version of the 4.0-litre V-8 TFSI RS6 engine which produces 600 hp—40 more than the RS6.”

These numbers align with our previous reports. In addition to the horsepower increase, the Plus reportedly also dropped an unspecified amount of weight for improved agility and handling. Its appearance, however, is almost indistinguishable from the standard model.

The standard Audi RS6 Avant is already a desirable car. It has a 560 PS (552 bhp), 516 lb-ft of torque 4.0 liter V8, an aggressive bodykit on its handsome body, and enough space for passengers and their cargo.

Just like the RS6 Avant, the Plus model will not be available in the U.S. It is expected to debut in Europe later this year.
