If you were paying attention to our news yesterday, you may have seen a couple of stories that were hoaxes.

Which ones, you ask? The Fiat 500 facelift, a Photoshop made by Carscoops reader Damian Sebastian, and half the piece about Jeremy Clarkson moving to the USA and taking over History Channel’s Top Gear – the part about the Top Gear Show tour being rebranded as “Clarkson, Hammond and May Live” is true.

Admittedly, many of you were on to us, so we promise to try harder next year.

The funny thing is that, some of you, didn’t believe the news about Honda bringing over the Civic Type R to North America – that was real and the announcement was made during the presentation of the Civic Concept at the New York Auto Show. You can hear it for yourself in the video below.
