Fiat is giving us another taste of the Linea’s successor in the compact sedan segment, the new Tipo that was presented late last year.
In Italy, its engine lineup includes two petrol and two diesels, with outputs ranging between 94hp and 118hp.
Inside its 4.54-meter long, 1.79-meter wide and 1.49-meter tall body, the new Tipo can seat five adults who get to enjoy the touchscreen radio and navigation system that works together with a 5-inch display, infotainment system and automatic climate control, offered as options. Its boot can hold 520 liters of luggage.

In its home, the new Fiat Tipo sedan has a starting price of €12,500 ($13,700), while the most expensive version costs €16,500 ($18,000).

The automaker is working on a second body style of the compact car, a five-door hatchback, which will have the tough job of going up against the Volkswagen Golf and its like, as a successor of the Bravo. The Tipo hatch will be presented in Geneva and European sales will start shortly after.
