Chevrolet said that the production version of the battery-powered Bolt will make its world premiere at this week’s 2016 CES in Las Vegas.

The small city car was developed in a strategic partnership between General Motors and the LG Corporation, with the Korean brand developing components and systems for the electric motor (made by GM), on-board charger, the power inverter module, battery cells, instrument cluster, electric climate control and infotainment system, while GM made sure the rest is ready.

The final production version of the Chevrolet Bolt will join an electrified vehicle lineup that includes the Spark EV, the 2016 Volt and the 2016 Malibu Hybrid and it’s named a “game-changer” by the automaker, thanks to its 200 miles of estimated range and a (relatively) affordable price, which will stand under the $30,000 mark.

Chevy will be the first automaker to work with Facebook in order to debut a vehicle using Facebook live and the four million fans the brand has will be the first to experience the new Bolt, thanks to a live video and a 360-degree interior video experience. The “green” model will be officially unveiled on January 6.
