Mazda has released full pricing info on its three-row SUV, which will be offered in four different trims.

Starting from an MSRP of $31,520, excluding a (*) $900 destination and handling fee ($945 in Alaska), the CX-9 Sport offers prospective buyers standard LED daytime running lights, 18-inch wheels, electronic parking brake, rearview camera, trailer stability assist and Mazda Connect infotainment, with Commander control and a 7-inch color display.

For an extra $950, the Sport Package on the entry-level version adds heated side mirrors and power driver's seat.

Sitting above the Sport is the CX-9 Touring, with its Blind Spot Monitoring, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, power liftgate, HomeLink garage door openers, black or sand color leather seating surfaces, keyless entry, power front seats and Mazda Connect with an 8-inch touchscreen display, from $35,970.

Additionally, customers can opt for the Touring Premium Package, priced at $1,745, which includes automatic headlights, rain-sensing wipers, LED fog lights, sunroof, automatic Smart City Brake Support, premium Bose audio, rear parking sensors, second-row retractable sunshades, navigation and SiriusXM satellite radio.

From $40,170, the CX-9 Grand Touring becomes available, which builds upon the Sport and Touring trim levels with its 20-inch wheels, roof rails, adaptive headlights, high-beam control, head-up display, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, radar-guided cruise control, Smart Brake Support and memory settings on the driver's seat.

The most expensive version of the new CX-9 is the Signature and it comes with standard i-ACTIV AWD, which uses 27 sensors to measure road conditions more than 200 times per seconds and determines how power to each wheel is allocated, to minimize slip. This benefits furthermore from LED signature accent grille lighting, LED accent lighting around the automatic shifter, Auburn-colored Nappa leather and rosewood supplied by Fujigen, Japanese guitar-maker.

All 2016 Mazda CX-9s are powered by a new 2.5-liter SkyActiv-G turbocharged four, which generates 250 HP on 93-octane gasoline (227 HP on 87-octane) and 310 lb-ft (420 Nm) of torque from 2,000 rpm, on either 87- or 93-octane gasoline. The EPA estimated fuel economy ratings stand at 22/28/25 mpg in city/highway/combined (10.7/8.4/9.4 lt/100 km) in FWD configuration. The four-pot is paired to a standard six-speed automatic transmission.

Customer deliveries will start in late-spring, 2016, in the United States.
