Subaru USA announced the pricing of the 2017 WRX and WRX STI models, along with the small revisions in their equipment levels.

The biggest difference for the MY2017 is the addition of the Blind Spot Detection and Rear Cross Traffic Alert features.

The 2017 WRX is still powered by the turbocharged 268hp 2.0-litre flat-four with direct injection and will be available in the same three trim levels –standard, Premium and Limited. Prices start at an MSRP of $26,695 which represents a $100 hike over the previous model.

Subaru’s EyeSight Driver Assist Technology is also offered in the WRX, integrated with features like Adaptive Cruise Control, Pre-Collision Braking and Lane Departure warning.

The 305hp STI versions continue to offer exclusive performance features including Active Torque Vectoring, Multi-Mode Vehicle Dynamics Control and a Brembo brake system, starting at an MSRP of $35,195.

And let’s not forget the company’s Starlink infotainment systems which are offered with 6.2-inch displays as standard and a bigger 7.0-inch screen featuring multi-touch gesture controls as an option.
