Chevrolet’s latest Corvette Z06 is impressive right out of the box – and can be made even more so.

BBM Motosport rolled out an eye-poking Corvette Stingray with 40 PS and 30 lb-ft of torque more than the standard variant.

That means the 6.2-litre supercharged V8 under its bonnet develops no less than 700 PS and 910 lb-ft of torque – a figure that required little effort to be achieved. A specifically designed air intake system plus an optional software adjustment were enough to increase the vehicle’s power.

Still, those are not the only things the German company has fiddled with. According to BBM, its primary focus was to optimize the ideal link between components from sports cars and racing cars, reworking the engine, exhaust system and styling of the automobile in the process. So, the top ‘Vette received a modest but effective front spoiler available either in carbon or metallic finish, a Capristo exhaust system with a CES-control and optional H-pipe catalytic replacement and OZ Ultraleggera 19 or 20-inch rims. The exterior styling is highlighted by a custom vinyl, done by car-wrapping specialist SL Premium.
