The Nautical Wraith Is A Roller Inspired By Luxury Yachts

If you associate the Rolls Royce Phantom’s dynamic capabilities with a luxurious ship, then the Wraith would most likely be a speed yacht.

Built on the Ghost’s chassis, the Wraith is the sportiest car Rolls Royce has ever built, although it still can’t be classified as a full-on racer, mainly due to its colossal weight and dimensions, but it can be a road-going substitute for a speed yacht.

Especially this particular example, as it was inspired by classic racing yachts. Sporting an Arabian Blue and English White exterior, linked by a pinstriped coachline, the “Nautica Wraith” wants to capture the streamlined power of a graceful sea vessel. Nevertheless, judging by its power output and performance figures alone, the Wraith would be a full-on Corvette – and we’re not talking about the car.

Step into the carefully crafted cabin – or at the helm of the Nautical Wraith, as Rolls Royce describes it – and you’ll immediately spot the dashboard’s intricate marquetry paying homage to the decking of classic yachts. Like every bespoke Roller governed by a motif, this too sports an intricately inlayed anchor into the veneer – as a token of the car maker’s craftsmanship.

Nautical details can be found almost everywhere on the car, even on the exterior paintwork, while the luxurious seats are tailored in “Forest Fall” leather, with “Navy Blue” piping in order to emphasize the vehicle’s luxurious approach towards “sailing” on the highway.
