The new exotic co-developed by Aston Martin and Red Bull remains under wraps, but fresh info suggests it will be presented in a couple of weeks.

According to MotorAuthority, the British manufacturer will lift the veils off the AM-RB 001 (name unconfirmed) at its Gaydon headquarters in Central England on July 5.

This is backed up by a previous report claiming that a summer presentation for the new road-legal hypercar is already scheduled.

Despite being allegedly shown to a select group of VIP customers at the Monaco Grand Prix last month, not much is known about the as of yet unnamed car, except that it will probably be built in just 99 units and will have a mid-engine layout.

Rumor has it that it will tip the scales at less than 1,000 kg (2,205 lbs), will be smaller than the McLaren P1 and will offer a better power-to-weight ratio than the mighty Koenigsegg One:1. This combo should help it lap a circuit as fast as a Formula One or an LMP1 racer, according to the brand’s chief, Andy Palmer, and with a price tag of approximately £2.5 million ($3.4 million), it will probably become sell out in no time at all.
