Singer To Bring Latest ‘Newcastle’ 911 To Goodwood [33 Pics]

Singer Vehicle Design will be present at this year’s Festival of Speed, joining the ranks of the Michelin Supercar Paddock with their latest UK creation.

Nicknamed ‘Newcastle’ out of its geographical home, this RHD 1990 Porsche 964 was painstakingly restored up to Singer standards of perfection and is scheduled for a drive up the hill with Chris Harris behind the wheel.

Powered by a naturally aspirated 4.0-litre flat six engine, this 911 makes close to 390hp and 315lb ft of torque which are good enough for a 0-60mph (96km/h) in sub 3.3 seconds and 0-100mph in 8.2 seconds. These are some breathtaking acceleration figures.

Finished in Singer Racing White with ghosted light blue stripes and blue lettering, the ‘Newcastle’ car looks just stunning. The cabin is a mix of the finest suede and leather in Deep Royal Blue with piano black trim on selected areas, an orange tachometer and the always beautiful Momo Prototipo steering wheel.

"To partake in such a highly visible and globally recognized event is indeed an honor, and we are proud to be here and share the vision of our client's desires, as well as our very own personalized approach to creating a true celebration of the Porsche 911," said Rob Dickinson, founder and creator of Singer Vehicle Design.
