Smart Reveals Revised UK Range, Prices Start From £11,125 OTR

Among its latest updates to the range, Smart has also announced pricing for its new Brabus sport line, available now from £13,810.

The automaker’s UK range now consists of an entry-level ‘passion’ spec model, followed by ‘prime’, ‘prime sport’ and finally the top of the range ‘Brabus sport’.

Entry-level fortwo coupe ‘passion’ models are now better-looking according to the automaker thanks to a fabric-covered roof, whereas forfour night sky ‘prime’ and ‘prime sport’ versions come with an electric fabric roof.

Those interested in the more financially-accessible ‘passion’ versions will still get to enjoy standard features such as the smart audio system, automatic climate control, three-spoke multi-function leather steering wheel and silver 15″ eight-spoke alloys.

Moving further up in the range you get to the ‘prime’ models which offer heated front seats, black leather upholstery with gray top-stitching, sunglasses holder, and 15″ five-spoke alloys painted black. ‘Prime Sport’ adds a perforated leather sports steering wheel (with paddle shifters on automatic models), sports suspension, chrome exhaust finisher and black 16″ 8-Y-spoke alloys.

As for the Brabus sport line, it’s available only on 90 PS models and features matte gray 17″ Brabus-specific wheels, front splitter and rear apron, stitching and logos, sports steering wheel and brushed stainless steel sports pedals with rubber studs.

Customers looking to spend £845 on the ‘Premium’ equipment line will get height-adjustable driver’s seat and steering wheel, electrically adjustable and heated door mirrors, rear parking sensors, smart media system and Mirror Link. For £1,345 the ‘Premium Plus’ line adds ambient lighting, LED headlights & taillights, fog lamps with cornering function and rear view camera.

In terms of packages, UK smart buyers can get the Comfort pack for £295, which offers a height-adjustable driver’s seat, electrically heated and adjustable mirrors and a height-adjustable steering wheel.

The twinamic 6-speed DCT automatic transmission is available across the range for £995.
