Limited edition Corvettes can cost you a fortune, but you can get your hands on something cool for not a lot of money. Like this 1995 Corvette Indy 500 Pace Car, for instance.

Not the real deal, of course, but one of 527 Indianapolis 500 Corvette Convertible Pace Cars that were modeled to look like the actual thing. While its color scheme might not be to everyone’s taste, the car itself was well looked after and maintained. It is priced at $27,900 and comes with a matching 1995 Corvette Pace Car Go-Kart scale model.

The dealer selling it on eBay says it had one owner for 21 years and has only 13k miles (20,921 km) on the clock. To top it off, the original owner selected the museum delivery option, where the customers were welcomed to a guided V.I.P. tour of the plant, and was lucky enough to run into Zora Duntov himself, who signed one of the documents that came with the car.

If the name Zora Duntov sounds familiar, it’s because he was the director of high performance at Chevrolet and introduced, among many other things, the Corvette Grand Sport program. The rumored mid-engine Corvette is codenamed Zora as an homage to the Belgian-American engineer.
