If there’s something the Cayman GT4 could borrow from the 911 R it would probably be its superior performance figures and not its color scheme.

Nevertheless, Impressive Wraps Hong Kong thought it would be a nice idea to turn this GT4 into a 911 R lookalike – more or less. The gloss red stripes are very similar, while the ‘Porsche’ text on the sides also looks like a faithful replica.

Overall, we think this color scheme fits the hardcore Cayman’s shape and is a nice departure from the solid paints we’ve seen so far.

Porsche has, naturally, ensured the special 911 was kept above the Cayman GT4. Both cars weigh, surprisingly, about the same, but the R features the 500 PS 4.0-liter from the GT3 RS, while the GT4 borrows the 3.8-liter from the (previous) Carrera S and, with 385 PS, is way down on power.
