The annual celebration of glorious motoring days gone by, Goodwood Revival, will see Aston Martin participate with a selection of classic and modern vehicles.

Staged at the Goodwood racing circuit in West Sussex, UK, this weekend, the event is looking to capture the automotive world from 1948 until 1966, and taking center stage from the British manufacturer will be a 1959 DBR1, a 1961 DB4 GT Zagato and two DB3S’, from 1953 and 1955.

It seems entirely fitting, therefore, that Aston Martin plays its part once again this year and gives the visiting crowds something truly memorable to admire and experience. It is always a delight to see our cars being enjoyed by true enthusiasts and I am especially looking forward to seeing the DBR1 in action“, said Aston’s President and CEO, Andy Palmer.

Among the competitors and spectators in period dress will be the all-new Aston Martin DB11, which will be displayed on the brand’s Earls Court 1950’s inspired stand. Launched earlier this year under the automaker’s ‘Second Century’ plan, the Grand Tourer replaces the old DB9 and carries an entirely new exterior design.

Powered by a fresh 5.2-liter twin-turbo V12 engine, with 608 PS (600 HP) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque, it needs 3.9 seconds to cover the 0-100 km/h (62 mph) sprint and it will keep accelerating up to 322 km/h (200 mph).
