Built in 1967 as the Italian answer to the Ford GT40, the Ferrari 330 P4 came out in four just examples, so trying to acquire one even at skyrocketing prices is close to impossible.

Happily, there’s a Texas company that is filling this niche by producing the most exact replicas of the Prancing Horse’s P4, with all parts and pieces modeled directly after the original cars, except for the drivetrain and engine, which have been brought up to date.

Purchasing one means writing your name on a 3-year waiting list, but this specific example can spare you the long wait, as it is available for purchase immediately, though at $850,000, it doesn’t come cheap.

At the time of writing, no bids have been placed on eBay, but the vendor reminds enthusiasts that the replica carries a Ferrari 575 V12 engine with G50 transaxle, and a Motec ECU package. Underneath its hand-formed aluminum body that is nearly identical to the original P4 lies a chromoly tube steel frame chassis.

This Ferrari 330 P4 replica isn’t just gorgeous to look at, as it has the muscle to match. It weighs just 2,200 lbs (998 kg) and the naturally aspirated lump produces over 500 HP. But is it really as good enough as the F12tdf or even the 488 GTB?
