With just a couple of days left until Audi will pull the covers off the latest generation Q5, during the 2016 Paris Auto Show, the brand with the four rings has dropped yet another video teaser with the fresh SUV.

The 15-second long footage discreetly reveals the fact that the all-new Q5 will benefit from the adjustable air suspension, similar to the one offered on the larger Q7, which will make its way on the options list, helping it enhance its off-road capabilities.

Quattro all-wheel drive will be available as well, on better equipped models, while lesser versions will have to do with front-wheel drive. Helping it drop a significant amount from its total weight will be the adoption of lighter materials and the latest evolution of the MLB platform, as seen in the new A4 and Q7.

The engine lineup will include the usual four- and six-cylinder petrol and diesel lumps, but chances are an SQ5 will be added as well, while the most potent member of the family, the RS Q5, remains under the question mark. Reports also indicate towards the addition of a frugal plug-in hybrid model, one that will use a 2.0-liter petrol engine and two electric motors.
