Audi USA decided to show the fun side of their new A4 Allroad in their latest commercial.
Titled ‘Sunday Drive’, the commercial shows us a typical suburb but instead of paved roads, there’s gravel, and we all know that dirt equals hooning, especially in a turbo AWD, jacked-up wagon.
In fact, this is the only wagon version of the Audi A4 currently available in the States, as the company decided not to bring the regular Avant. Power comes from a 252hp 2.0-litre TFSI which is paired to a seven-speed dual clutch automatic gearbox.
The new A4 Allroad sits 34mm (1.4in) higher than the normal model while Audi has added an extra ‘offroad’ driving mode to the ‘Audi Drive Select’ system. The bodywork also bears the traditional extra cladding, giving it that rugged look, as well as aluminum roof rails and underbody guard for protection.
It may not be the most direct of choices when it comes to playing on the dirt, but we imagine there’s lot of fun to be had in one of these.
